The analogue input module is a device for collecting analogue signals from remote sites to a computer. It uses the RS-485 bus as a data communication line and provides an analogue to 485 function, enabling simultaneous analogue input to the module and transmission to the computer via the RS-485 bus.
Thanks to the RS-485 interface as a communication interface, it is possible to combine several modules to transmit a larger number of analogue signals and to decentralise the configuration on the 485 line, using address codes for differentiation and direct access to the MODBUS RTU protocol configuration software.

Its communication protocol uses the MODBUS RTU protocol, which enables a uniform interface with industrial field data acquisition and is easy to program.
