The IC693DNM200 is a 90-30 series component manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is a single slot DeviceNet master module with one (1) DeviceNet terminal and one (1) RS232 service port. The module supports standard DeviceNet transfer rates such as 125K, 250K and 500K, is capable of supporting 255 input data bytes and 255 output data bytes and can accommodate up to 63 DeviceNet slave devices.

The IC693DNM200 supports all data rates of the DeviceNet protocol, in particular 125K, 250K and 500K transfer rates. Each slave can transmit up to 255 bytes of input data and 255 bytes of output data from the host, and up to 3972 bytes of input data and 3972 bytes of output data to this host module. In addition, a total of 126 I/O connections can be established using the module, as it is capable of communicating with up to 63 slave devices, each of which can be assigned up to two (2) I/O stations. The module supports and can be configured for data connections such as polling, pass select, cyclic or COS. this DeviceNet master module also supports explicit messaging, unconnected message manager (UCMM) and one (1) proxy connection per slave unit.
In addition, the module can operate in dual mode, as both a master and a slave. In particular, the fault behaviour during communication loss can be configured to provide an acceptable system response in the event of said error. The module also comes with upgradeable firmware allowing module updates and bug fixes to be downloaded via the RS232 service port.

For the output current, it should be noted that the final output current per group is 4 amps, while the output current per common pin group does not exceed 3 amps. In addition to this, the on-state voltage drop is 0.3 volts DC and the on/off response time does not exceed 0.5 ms. The IC693DNM200 module is very reliable and can operate over a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). In addition to this, the unit is specified for storage over a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
