The ProSoft MVI46-MNETC Modbus TCP/IP Communication Module is a multi-vendor interface (MVI) TCP/IP Client Communication Module which provides SLC processors with an easy interface to MODBUS TCP/IP protocol supported devices. This module is designed to support up to 30 clients with 16 commands per client for easy Disable/Enable of commands via simple ladder logic, and it basically acts as an input/output module between the Rockwell Automation backplane and the Modbus TCP/IP network with access to process memory data for transfer. The MVI46-MNETC has a maximum backplane current draw of 800 milliAmps at 5 Volt DC, and it comes with an LED indicator which shows module, backplane transfer, Application, Ethernet link, and error status. It is designed to support up to 5000 registers to and from the SLC processor with user defined memory, and it is designed with a 10/100 MB Ethernet/IP compatible interface (RJ45). It supports the backplane I/O interface, and it also supports a floating point data type. The MVI46-MNETC is designed to operate within 0 to 60 degree Celsius (32 to 140 degree Fahrenheit) temperature range, around 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity environment, and it is stored within a temperature range of -40 to 85 degree Celsius (-40 to 185 degree Fahrenheit).
