The IC697CHS750 rack is an I/O rack manufactured by GE Fanuc. It connects different components and modules from the GE Series 90-70 PLC product line together. It is equipped with 5 slots and it has a rear mounting mechanism. The rack has an open enclosure and it is suitable for indoor use only. It can be easily mounted on a factory floor. The components that are connected in the 5 slots can have individual power supplies of their own on the left side of the module position. The rack is compact in size and it weighs around 2 kilograms. It has dimensions of 11.15 inches in height, 12.60 inches in width, and 7.5 inches in depth. The enclosure of the rack is 254 millimeters deep. The rack supports additional accessories including the backplane J2 jumper kit that is useful during the installation process. The rack is equipped with a removable terminal block that can be accessed through the hinged door. The cable to the rack is passed through the bottom of the hinged door. An I/O terminal restraining strap is present on the side of the rack that holds the terminal firmly in place. The power supply connector is situated on the inside of the rack along with the spacer. The system noise can be eliminated by using grounding measures.
