Used in the Mark VI Turbine Control System the IS210BPPBH2C model was designed as a printed circuit board. One key feature of the BPPB board being used in the Mark VI system is that it can be used with two types of turbine prime movers which are steam or gas turbines. The main components of this module are the eight female plug connectors, the connectors range from two to eighteen-pin connectors. On the left side of the board lined up in a row, there are six metal oxide varistors.
When the model is mounted in the turbine control system it will be in the main Control Module, it does have the potential to be used with a Backup Protection Module as well. When in the main control module there are a number of software maintenance tools. The maintenance tools vary from protection algorithms to sequencing and I/O displays.
