The CompactLogix 5380 process controller is designed for the chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, metals and mining, oil and gas, and plastic products industries. Its automatic diagnostics feature allows users to subscribe to and receive diagnostics through FactoryTalk® View Site Edition without additional programming, reducing development effort. In addition, it is tightly integrated with the PlantPAx® 5.0 system to reduce import users Custom instruction requirements.
