8120E Redundant control system framework
The 8120E is a redundant control system framework manufactured by Triconex. It supports multiple series of modules, including digital input modules and external terminal modules, for receiving and sending various signals, such as analog, digital, pulse signals, etc.
The 8120E controller integrates a three-way isolated, parallel control system and independent diagnostic circuits in a single system, providing highly complete, error-free, uninterrupted process control through two-out of three voting to ensure that the system does not fail due to a single point of failure.
The 8120E supports a wide range of modules, including digital input modules and external terminal modules. The digital input module is used to receive digital signal inputs from external devices and transmit them to the main processor of the Triconex system for processing, while supporting multiple input channels to receive multiple digital signal inputs. The external terminal module is used to connect external devices, receive and transmit digital signal output from the Triconex system to external devices, and also supports multiple output channels.
