DS200FGPAG1A Switch pulse amplifier board
The DS200FGPAG1A is a general purpose brake pulse amplifier board manufactured by GE Electric as part of the LS2100 Static starter control family.
This card has three main functions:
SCR condition monitoring: This function is used to accumulate battery voltage information and can be done with up to 12 FHVA devices. Once the voltage information is accumulated, it is sent back to the load reversing inverter device via an optical data link.
Switching power Supply: The switching power supply function is responsible for converting the received AC voltage to the DC voltage required for gated and status functions.
Gate driver: This function provides gate power to one phase of the SCR bridge, ensuring the proper operation of the SCR bridge.
In addition, there are 15 fiber optic connectors on the DS200FGPAG1A board, of which 1 is for transmitting and 14 are for receiving. Two of the receiving ports are fixed duplex fiber networks, and the rest are fixed simplex fiber networks, which ensure that the signal is not affected by electrical interference.
