IS420ESWBH2A Industrial Ethernet switch
The IS420ESWBH2A is an unmanaged IONet/ industrial Ethernet switch designed by GE General Electric as part of the Mark VIe family for use in Mark VIeS or Mark VIe security control systems.
Some details of IS420ESWBH2A features:
Ports and connectivity: The switch is equipped with two 100Base-FX multimode fiber ports that have LC type connectivity regardless of the mode of the fiber port. In addition, it has RJ45 connectors that are capable of handling high stresses and should be able to use up to 200 insert/remove cycles.
Packet processing: The standard operation of IS420ESWBH2A switches focuses on the ability to buffer multicast and broadcast packet streams. This means that multiple data streams can enter the switch, and each port has enough space to buffer one packet.
Reliability and performance: Because high reliability is required when using IS420ESWBH2Aswitches, multiple performance criteria, switching architecture, surge current, and switching delay should be considered during operation. The surge current of the switch will provide a soft start, helping to limit the surge current to less than 200% of the normal operating current.
Industrial automation applications: The switch has the characteristics of high reliability, easy configuration and debugging, and high scalability, so it is suitable for various industrial automation equipment and systems. It provides an efficient, stable and reliable data communication solution for industrial automation systems.
In addition to the above mentioned features, IS420ESWBH2A may have other application-specific features, depending on how it is integrated into a particular system or network.
