IS200VTURH1BAA is a major turbine protection card for the control and maintenance of steam or gas industrial turbines.
It has the following main functions:
Control function: It controls overspeed trip relays located on the TRPx junction panels, which are used to cut off power if the turbine speed exceeds the safety limit to protect the equipment from overload and damage.
Monitoring function: The card is capable of monitoring the Geiger-Mueller flame detector, which is particularly suitable for gas turbine applications to ensure that the gas turbine is operating under safe combustion conditions. In addition, it can also monitor the induced shaft current and voltage to detect any possible electrical problems or faults.
Turn off the main circuit breaker to synchronize with the automatic generator: In some cases, the IS200VTURH1BAA may need to turn off the main circuit breaker for maintenance or emergency shutdown.
