The IS220PTCCH1A module acts as a bridge connecting the I/O Ethernet network through a complex electrical interface to the thermocouple input terminal board. It has an internally placed BPPx processor board and a capture board for thermocouple input functions. The IS220PTCCH1A can be used in simplex, duplex and triple module redundancy applications. It supports E, J, K, S and T standard thermocouples and mV inputs with ranges from -8 to 45 mV. These thermocouples can be grounded or ungrounded and can be located up to 984 feet from the fan I/O panel. Cable resistance must be maintained at a maximum of 450Ω.
