3BSE008508R2 Programmable logic controller
The ABB 3BSE008508R2 is a programmable logic controller (PLC) product that is also equipped with the PM891 processor, a single chip unit that contains the microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator light, INIT button, and secure digital interface. The PM891 has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connection to the control network and an isolated RJ45 serial port (COM4) for configuration tools. It also supports CPU redundancy for increased availability (CPU, CEX-Bus, communication interfaces, and S800 I/O).
It has the following main functions:
