DSDP170 Pulse input/output unit
The ABB DSDP170 is a pulse input/output unit that is the main processor unit in the ABB800xA system. It is equipped with a processor that provides powerful computing power and response speed, can handle complex control and data processing tasks, supports multi-tasking and parallel operation, and improves the efficiency and flexibility of the system. At the same time, the controller supports CPU redundancy for higher availability. It also has EMC certification, high reliability and easy to use.
This product has a variety of communication interfaces, including Ethernet, serial communication and fieldbus interfaces, to connect and communicate with other devices, systems and networks. Its CPU board contains the microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, INIT button, and CompactFlash interface. The baseplate has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4) for connecting to the control network. Among them, one serial port (COM3) is the RS-232C port with the modem control signal, and the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect to the configuration tool. Each substrate is equipped with an Ethernet address that provides a hardware identity for each CPU.
