The ABB NPBA-12 is a PROFIBUS DP slave station adapter that belongs to the ABB AC500-S family with a wide range of communication rates from 9.6 Kbps to 12 Mbps and is equipped with an RS-485 interface. This adapter uses 24 VDC power with a power consumption of 2W, is suitable for the operating temperature range from 0°C to +55°C, and storage temperature range from -25°C to +70°C. It weighs 0.2 kg, measures 90 mm x 70 mm x 25 mm, and is made of plastic.
NPBA-12 adaptor supports PROFIBUS DP bus protocol, and provides redundant dual-bus structure and optical fiber redundant ring network function, providing optical fiber redundant long-distance transmission and relay function for redundant dual-network system.
