RLM01 PROFIBUS Redundant link module

ABB RLM01 is a PROFIBUS redundant link module, the main function of this module is to convert non-redundant PROFIBUS links into two redundant links, or convert two redundant links into one PROFIBUS DP link. It is suitable for field devices equipped with only one PROFIBUS DP interface, which can be integrated into redundant PROFIBUS bus networks through this module.
The RLM01 module acts as an active switch, amplifies the amplitude of the signal form and input data, and monitors the activity and error status of the three links. It supports up to 31 PROFIBUS clients and can be expanded even more with Repeaters (fiber-electrical). In addition, through the front panel LED or signal contactor, users can easily indicate and identify errors. The RLM01 also has an 8-connector terminal board that can be used to read specific information for diagnostic purposes.
