Grid-connected and off-grid: According to the instructions of the main control, the converter system controls the output power of the generator stator to the same frequency, phase and amplitude by exciting the generator rotor, and then drives the stator outlet contactor to close, so as to achieve grid-connected. When the generating power of the unit is less than a certain value for a few seconds or when the fan or the power grid fails, the converter drives the stator outlet contactor of the generator to open the gate to realize the unit’s off-grid.
Generator speed adjustment: When the unit is connected to the grid and runs below the rated load, the generator speed is controlled to achieve the best operation of the unit.
Power control: When the unit enters the constant power zone, the power output of the unit is maintained through the communication instructions with the frequency converter.
Reactive power control: Through the communication instructions with the frequency converter, reactive power control or power factor adjustment.
