The SDSS-REB-1 controller monitors the energy feedback from the motor in the system, especially the average or peak power. When these powers exceed the preset level of the brake power rating, it generates a warning that says “n02 brake power exceeded” and shuts down the brake circuit. In addition, the controller provides combined (peak and continuous) power information for all amplifiers in real time, ensuring that the system is always aware of current power usage.
The SDSS-REB-1 controller has excellent power management capabilities. It ensures that the average and peak power do not exceed the preset level of the brake power rating by precisely monitoring the energy feedback from the motor. Once the power exceeds a preset threshold, the controller immediately generates a warning and shuts off the brake circuit, effectively preventing equipment overload and damage.
