GE IS200VRTDH1A is a communication module for industrial automation systems. Part of GE’s Mark VI family of control systems, it is a powerful communication module for industrial automation systems that provides high-speed, efficient data transmission and processing capabilities.
The main functions include:
PROFIBUS DP communication: The IS200VRTDH1A supports PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1, Class 1 master device function, and can map I/O from the device to the controller. This allows it to efficiently transmit data and control signals in industrial automation systems.
High performance data transfer: As a bus performance gateway, the IS200VRTDH1A communicates with the controller over a 100 MB Ethernet I/O network and with slave devices over an RS-485 interface. It supports communication up to 9.6 KB to 12 MB and can be used for up to 125 nodes with 244 bytes of I/O per slave node.
Fast data processing: The speed of data communication between the controller and the PROFIBUS I/O module is up to 10 milliseconds. Data is asynchronously communicated to the slave device at the fastest possible rate, which is determined by the PROFIBUS network baud rate, the number of slave devices, the number of I/ OS, and the slave device response time.
Large amount of I/O processing: At an execution rate of 10ms (frame rate), the IS200VRTDH1A can handle up to 500 inputs and 500 outputs (semi-Boolean and semi-analog).
Event detection: For input event detection, Booleanputs can be configured to event sequence (SOE) logging with a 10ms time label for easy fault tracing and diagnosis.
