The 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor:
l Protects machinery bycontinuouslycomparingmonitored parameters against configured alarmsetpoints to drive alarms.l Communicates essential machine information to bothoperations and maintenancepersonnel.The3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor is a four-channelmonitor that accepts input from proximity and seismictransducers. It conditionsthesignaltoprovidevibrationandpositionmeasurementsandcomparesthecondtionedsignalswithuserprogrammable alarms.You can program each channel using the 3500 Rack.
Configuration Software to monitor and report: – Radial vibration – REBAM – Thrustposition – Acceleration – Differential expansion – Shaftabsolute – Eccentricity – Circular acceptanceregion – Velocity The monitor channels are programmed in pairsand can perform up to two of the listed functions ata time. For example, Channels 1 and 2 can performone function while channels 3 and 4 performanother or the same function. Eachchannel,dependingonconfiguration,typicallyconditions its input signal to generate various parameterscalled static values. You can configure alert setpoints foreach active static value and danger setpoints for any two ofthe active static values.
