350025 125792-01 Enhanced key phasor module
The 3500/25 Enhanced critical module is a semi-tall, dual-channel module used to provide critical phasor signals to the monitoring module within the 3500 rack. The module receives input signals from close probes or magnetic pickups and converts the signal into a digital key phasor signal, representing the Keyphasor transducer when the key phasor mark on the shaft is reconnected to the shaft. The 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four normal bond phasor signal configurations and up to eight bond phasor signals in a pair configuration.
Key phasor signals are pulses per revolution or multiple pulses per revolution from a rotating shaft or gear, used to provide accurate timing measurements. This allows 3500 monitoring modules and external diagnostic equipment to measure shaft speed and vector parameters such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase.
The Enhanced Critical phasor module is an improved 3500 system module. It provides extended Keyphasor signal processing capabilities compared to previous designs, while maintaining full backward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules in terms of form, fitness, and functionality for use in legacy systems. The key phasor module PWA 125792-01 is
It was completely replaced by the updated 149369-01 module. When a three-mode redundancy (TMR) application requires a system critical phasor input, the 3500 system should deploy two critical phasor modules. In this configuration, these modules work in parallel to provide primary and secondary critical phasor signals to other modules in the rack.
