ABB 07AI91 Analog input/output module
The ABB 07AI91 is an analog input/output module with the following functions:
Analog input: The module has eight analog input channels that can be configured in pairs to connect various sensors, such as temperature or voltage sensors. It supports Pt100, Pt1000 linearization, and linearization of thermocouple types J, K, and S, but can only use electrically isolated sensors. Each channel is configured using 16 bits and the module address setting is performed by the DIL switch.
Analog output: Its main function is to convert the input digital signal into digital mode, and output continuous voltage, current and signal. For example, in a TV control block, a continuous voltage signal that changes with the input signal can be output through the digital-to-analog conversion of the module, thereby controlling volume, brightness and contrast.
Power supply and isolation: The module is powered by 24v DC, and its CS31 system bus connection is electrically isolated from the rest of the device, which means that the module has a high level of safety and stability during operation.
Self-calibration and Diagnostics: The module provides a number of diagnostic functions to self-calibrate all channels, further enhancing its reliability.
