The ControlLogix system is a cost-effective package that not only provides discrete, drive, motion, process, and safety control, but also has communication capabilities and state-of-the-art technology
I/O. The system is modular, so you can design, build, and modify it efficiently, resulting in significant savings in training and engineering costs.

The simple ControlLogix system consists of a single controller and multiple I/O modules in a single rack. For a more comprehensive system:
• Use multiple controllers in a single rack
• Use multiple controllers connected across the network
• Use I/O in multiple platforms distributed in multiple locations and connected via multiple I/O links

ControlLogix-XT system
Controllogix-xt ™ (Extended Temperature) controllers work the same way as traditional ControlLogix controllers with extended temperature ranges. ControlLogix-XT product pack
Includes control and communication system components with conformal coatings that extend product life in harsh, corrosive environments:
• The standard ControlLogix system can withstand a temperature range of 0… 60 °C (33… 140 °F).
• When used alone, the ControlLogix-XT system can withstand a temperature range of -25… +70 °C (–13… +158 °F).

The 1715 redundant I/O system enables the ControlLogix 5570 controller to communicate with the remote redundant I/O rack over an EtherNet/IP network. 1715 Redundant I/O system used
Redundant adapter pairs and redundant I/O module pairs provide fault tolerance and redundancy for critical processes.
Redundant I/O systems must be connected to the ControlLogix 5570 system over an EtherNet/IP network. All connections are established over Ethernet and use 1756-EN2TR
Topology supported by the communication bridge module.
