The AC 800M can be defined as a hardware platform consisting of a single hardware unit. The AC 800M hardware platform is programmable to perform a variety of functions, depending on the unit configuration and operating system selected. The AC 800M controller consists of the following hardware units:
• Processor unit (including baseboard) Example: PM858, PM864A, PM865, PM866A, PM867, PM891
• Communication interfaces for different protocols (including substrates)
• Power supply units offering various power output levels
• Battery backup unit
Application control, used for high integrity system with AC, 800 m HI SM810K01 / SM811K01 / SM812K01 special modules
