The IC670MDL240 is a 16-Point discrete input module from the Field control series of GE Fanuc. This module has Sixteen (16) input channels that accepts input signal voltage of 120 VAC at signal range of 0-132 VAC, 47-63 Hz and user input current of 15 mA per point. This module has a current draw of 77mA from the Bus Interface Unit (BIU) power supply.

The IC670MDL240 is a 16-channel discrete input module from a field control I/O module. The module is used to connect signalling devices with two (2) states or binary operations, such as push-button devices, limit switches, auxiliary contacts, proximity sensors and other similar operating devices. The module operates as an expansion module and is mounted along the Bus Interface Unit (BIU) with a maximum current of 77 mA.

The IC670MDL240 is equipped with a separate LED status indicator to show the logic 0 and logic 1 status of the input channels. At logic 0, the input point receives voltage and current at the off state level, while at logic 1 the input channel actively receives voltage and current at the on state level, which causes the LED indicator to be activated. In addition, a dedicated PWR LED indicator is provided to show the power received from the backplane.
