The IC697CBL700 cable can carry 5 Volts of power from the power bust to the second rack and control signal at a time. For control, the cable carries the ACFAIL and the SYSRESET signals. The ACFAIL signal goes false after the 5 Volts bus voltage is applied. The SYSRESET signal can be held in the reset state for up to 200 milliseconds after the application of 5 Volts of voltage.
The Series 90-70 IC697CBL700 extension cable has a 9-pin D-type connector for cable connections. The input voltage range of the cable has a frequency between 50 and 60 Hertz. The extension cable is provided with both overvoltage and overcurrent protection. In case of a fault in the power supply, the fuse gets opened. The extension cable is also supplied with a cover plate for additional protection. It can be mounted by using the 4 M2.5 screws. The operating temperature should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius. For temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius, the maximum output power should be decreased. The IC697CBL700 cable can accommodate different IC697 modules in the second rack slot that can operate with 12 Volts. During the installation process, the extension cable should not bend too much to avoid damage.
