The IS200VRTDH1C is a board component created by GE for the Mark VI turbine system. The Mark VI is a gas and steam turbine management system that was developed and released by General Electric as part of the Speedtronic line that had been used for turbine management for over three decades at the time of the Mark VI’s release. The Mark VI is designed for operation within an air-conditioned equipment room that has convection cooling. It has an operating temperature of 0 to +45 degrees Celsius and a storage temperature of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius.

The IS200VRTDH1C is built with a narrow front faceplate that fits into a VME I/O rack. Three screw connections marry the faceplate to the PCB. The faceplate includes three LED indicators that include a “RUN,” a “FAIL,” and a “STATUS” indicator. The status indicator glows orange if a diagnostic alarm condition exists. These conditions might include:

  • Exceeding hardware limit checks based on preset high and low levels set near the ends of the operating range of the RTDs.

  • Exceeding system limit checks based on configurable highs and lows.

  • A mismatch of a connector ID and a terminal board ID, which will create a hardware incompatibility fault

  • A resistance fault, if the resistance of an RTD is checked and compared with the correct value and found to be high or low.
