The GE IS420YAICS1B is a high-performance analog I/O module. Part of the GE Mark VIeS control system, it is mainly used to connect one or two I/O Ethernet ports to an analog input/output terminal board. The module has strong analog signal processing capability, and provides accurate and reliable data acquisition and control functions for industrial automation system.

The S420YAICS1B module is designed to receive the input voltage signal from the relevant terminal board and convert it into a digital signal that the control system can understand. In addition, it acts as a service interface for maintenance services during startup and shutdown or fault detection during operation. This flexible input configuration allows the module to adapt to the needs of various industrial automation applications.
The IS420YAICS1B consists of a processor board with a capture board specific to input functions. It is compatible with BPPC processor boards and supports firmware version V05.01 or later, while ControlST software should be V06.01 or later.
