NBIM01 Bus interface module
ABB NBIM01 is a bus interface module produced by ABB for its Bailey Net 80 distributed control system (DCS). This product is part of the Bailey Bus Interface Module and is specifically designed for the primary communication interface between the INFI 80 process control unit and the plant loop.
Specifically, the NBIM01 module supports high-speed (500 kbaud) serial communication, and all INFI 80 modules share this high-speed communication channel. The module can support up to 53 nodes in any combination. In addition, it has ROM Boot, which attempts to boot when the power is powered on, but does not access the VMEbus address space.
