ABB NDSI02 is a powerful and flexible photoelectric converter widely used in industrial automation systems, supporting a variety of buses, network structures and transmission distances, providing flexible interface configuration and redundancy functions to meet a variety of industrial automation needs. Support for PROFIBUS DP means that it can be seamlessly connected to industrial automation systems based on Profibus DP. Interface design:
The device has an independent dual-bus electrical interface and two optical fiber interfaces, which makes it support redundant dual-bus structure and optical fiber redundant ring network function.
The two electrical service channels are logically independent and support flexible configuration of one or two optical and electrical interfaces. You can flexibly configure one optical fiber interface + one data interface, one optical fiber interface + two data interfaces, two optical fiber interfaces + one data interface, and two optical fiber interfaces + two data interfaces based on project requirements.
Network structure support:
Support point-to-point, star, chain bus, ring network and hybrid network structure, to provide users with a variety of network connections.
Transmission distance:
It provides long-distance fiber transmission of more than 20km, breaking the distance limit of cable systems, and is suitable for industrial automation environments requiring long-distance communication.
Rate setting:
The Ci-pf series is based on the standard Profibus DP, the rate can be set by the dip switch or select the rate adaptive setting, and supports 10 common rates of the Profibus DP bus.
Redundant functions:
The optical fiber redundant long-distance transmission and relay function for redundant dual-network system improves the stability and reliability of the system.
