NLIS01 Network interface slave module

ABB NLIS01 is a network interface slave module. The network interface slave station module (NIS) and the network processing module (NPM) form a process control unit interface. The process control unit interface provides the control module in the process control unit with access to the INFI-NET® communication system. The NIS module is an I/O module that works with the NPM module, allowing a node to communicate with any other node on the INFI-NET loop. The NLIS01 contains a microprocessor-based communication circuit that enables it to connect to the NPM module, and has locking screws and leds on the panel to secure the module and display information such as error codes, event/error counts, etc.
