The ProSoft MVI46-HART HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) Multi-drop Master Communication Module is a backplane compatible module in the ProSoft family of industrial communication modules, which allows a compatible SLC processor to interface easily HART communication protocol supported devices. This module features 15 user configurable HART channels which can interface up to 15 HART supported devices to the SLC processor, and of these 15 channels, 4 supports master configuration for interface with slave devices on the network. It is installed on a 1746 compatible local or extended I/O rack and draws 800 milli-Amps maximum backplane current at 5 Volt DC.
