The NI PXI-6527 tends to read the condition of external logic at both TTL levels and non-TTL levels. Each of its 24 input channels has a couple of differential isolated terminals for the signal and its reference. It has an input current of 1.5mA maximum (per channel) at 5 V, and 8 mA max (per channel) at 24 V. A potential difference within 2 VDC to 28 VDC in-between the two terminals of the PXI-6527 registers as a logic high. On the other hand, the module considers a logic low between 0 V and 1 V. The inputs of this module provide 60 VDC isolation from the PC and between channels.

This Digital I/O Module can generate a message against one or more user opted input line changes, either from high to low, low to high, or both. Once informed of a change in state, the NI-DAQ can read other input line’s status, perform other user-programmed operations, or set outputs. The 24 solid-relay outputs on the NI PXI-6527 can switch external devices with those requiring control digital logic levels at TTL, as well as non-TTL levels and high input currents. The device is equipped with a 100-pin keyed female cable connector. It has a power requirement of 500 mA maximum at +5 VDC. The NI device measures 6.3 x 3.9 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C, and a storage temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.

Classification of printed circuit boards

1. Single-sided
In the most basic PCB, the parts are concentrated on one side and the wires are concentrated on the other side. Because the wires only appear in one side, so this PCB is called single-sided (Single-sided). Because single-sided has many strict restrictions on the design of the circuit (because there is only one side, the wiring cannot cross over and must be routed around a separate path), so only the early circuits used this type of board.

2. Double-sided boards
This type of board has wiring on both sides, but in order to use the wires on both sides, there must be a proper circuit connection between the two sides. The “bridge” between such circuits is called a via. A via is a small hole in the PCB, filled or coated with metal, which can be connected to the wires on both sides.
