TRICONEX 4200 Safety control system
The TRICONEX 4200 is a security control system that supports multiple communication interfaces and protocols, which enables seamless integration with other devices and systems.
Its main functions include:
Memory validation: With TriBus hardware voting circuitry, the TRICONEX 4200 is able to verify user memory, shared memory interfaces with each I/O communication processor and channel, handshakes and interrupt signals between cpus, and more. This verification ensures the stability and reliability of the system.
I/O communication processing: The TRICONEX 4200 checks the loopback of each I/O communication processor and channel microprocessor, ROM, shared memory access, and RS485 transceiver to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of I/O communication.
Tricon Communication Module (TCM) : This is an important component of the TRICONEX 4200 and is only compatible with Tricon v10.0 and later systems. TCM allows Tricon to communicate with TriStation 1131, as well as with other Tricon or Trident controllers, Modbus master and slave devices, and external hosts over Ethernet. Each TCM contains four serial ports, two network ports, and one debug port (for Triconex use), each of which is addressed and can be configured as a Modbus master or slave.
