UR6CH A General Electric (GE) digital I/O module
The UR6CH is a digital I/O module from General Electric (GE) that primarily provides digital input and output functions for communication with UR relays. Specifically, the UR6CH module has eight Form-C digital outputs that are single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contacts containing a common point that can be connected to a normally closed contact (NC) and a normally open contact (NO).
Product Description
UR6CH Offering UR relays the ability to communicate with auxiliary equipment by providing digital inputs and outputs, General Electric’s UR-6CH is a Digital I/O Module. This particular unit offers 8-Form C digital outputs. Form-C digital outputs are Single Pole-Double Throw (SPDT) contacts, indicating that there is common point that connects to one normally closed contact (NC) and one normally open contact (NO). Form-C can switch between these two outputs and is often called a “changeover” contact as a result.
UR6CH The Universal Relays series is built with scalability in mind, offering a hinged faceplate that allows access to the module bay within for easy installation and upgrading. While the enhanced and normal models have minor differences when accessing the module bay, both units provide a relatively easy entrance for hardware modifications.
