YB161102-AA Industrial Ethernet switch
ABB’s YB161102-AA is a powerful industrial Ethernet switch for a wide range of industrial environments and networking needs. The switch uses dual power supply redundancy input, the power supply range is DC(9-36)V, the typical value is DC24V, and the power consumption is less than 4W. In addition, it also has DC1500V voltage isolation and reverse connection protection function to ensure the stability and safety of the power supply.

Alarm output: When the optical fiber or power supply is faulty, the switch notifies the switch of the fault through the alarm output function of the relay. The contact capacity is DC48V/1A, and industrial terminal interfaces are used.
Mechanical characteristics: The external dimensions of the switch are 132mm×105mm×52mm, the housing has IP30 protection grade, and the corrugated aluminum reinforced housing is used. It supports 35mmDIN rail mounting and has a net weight of 800g.

Network function: The switch has a logical independent dual bus electrical interface, which can realize the backup of the electrical interface or single device access to the dual redundant bus system. It supports the connection of two Profibus DP bus segments by optical fiber, and realizes multi-segment Profibus DP bus connections (up to 200) on the optical fiber bus of the dual-optical port chain network. In addition, when a certain optical fiber fails, the system can rebuild the network link within 10ms, ensure the normal communication of the system, and realize the self-healing protection function of signal transmission. This series of products also use the company’s own research and development of the proprietary ring network protocol Ci-ring, no need to set, no root node, quickly complete the network ring and unring function. At the same time, it supports a variety of transmission fibers and transmission distances, such as multi-mode 50/125um, 62.5/125um, 100/140um fiber and single-mode 8.3/125um, 9/125um, 10/125um fiber, transmission distances of up to 2Km and 20Km respectively (longer distances are optional).
